- Family looking for a fun, energetic, and outdoorsy nanny to care for B21-months.
About the family:
Laid-back, easygoing family who believes in letting kids explore, get messy, and learn through experience. They want B21months days to be filled with wonder, play, and adventure—whether that’s digging in the sand, baking together, or jumping in puddles.
* B21mo is quiet and observant at first but full of energy once comfortable. He thrives in nature and loves routine activities.
* Mum is a paediatrician, working full-time.
* Dad is a business owner, working between Sydney and Newcastle.
* Pets: Cleopatra (cat) will be your little shadow at home, and Vladimir (ferret) will mostly be asleep during the day.
Parent's are very strong in their belief of no screentime whatsoever. They are happy to set out a few key rules and let you decide the rest, responding to their child’s needs and following your own instincts.
35.5h -3 full days and 2 half days each week, the days will alternate depending on the week.
Responsibilities:
* Taking B21mo to Gymbaroo, music class, library rhyme time, and swimming.
* Play and explore at beach, parks, dig around in mud.
* Engage in arts and crafts, bake or cook together, jump around in puddles, read books, facilitate independent play.
* Feeding lunch, and a single snack after he wakes up.
* Keeping play areas tidy, doing and folding child's laundry, may need you to start on dinner some weeks, pick up pre-ordered groceries once in a while.
About you:
* Enthusiastic, fun, and love spending time outdoors (rain or shine!).
* Can read child’s cues and follow his lead.
* Bonus if you have Steiner or Montessori experience.
* Comfortable working independently and creating a nurturing, engaging environment.
* Open to all levels of experience, what matters more is the level of enthusiasm and personality match. If you can be described as a ball of fun and think there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes - please apply!

Pay & Perks
* Paid annual leave (4 weeks), including Christmas/New Year + 3 weeks off in Aug/Sep.
* Option to include lunch as part of your day.
